UNIVERSITY OF GLOUCESTERSHIRE
he University of Gloucestershire School of Humanities
is pleased to be working in partnership with Bible Society, Baylor
University (USA) and Redeemer University College in the Scripture and Hermeneutics Seminar.
The name
University of Gloucestershire has been used since 2001 when Cheltenham & Gloucester
College of Higher Education received the university title. Immediately
prior to 1990 the College was called The College of St Paul and St Mary,
Cheltenham.
Over two hundred students are involved in theology and
religious studies at the University each year. The Masters programme
includes MA’s
in Biblical Studies, Religion and Society, and Religious Education. Around
thirty research students are working for MPhil/PhD awards, particularly
in Biblical Studies.
We are delighted that the Scripture and Hermeneutics
Seminar has been supported by a number of international experts and
we acknowledge their fine contribution
to the consultations and to the first four volumes in the Scripture and
Hermeneutics Series. We are also grateful for the encouragement and co-operation
of Paternoster Publishing (UK) and Zondervan Publishing House (USA).
